Subject:  Re: ODBC acces a table dbf
I'm having a really hard time understanding your original question and your response.  I was under the impression that the problem was related to registry writes, but your response mentions the SQLEXEC function.

Regardless, the way to troubleshoot such problems is similar.  First make sure that your code works in VFP.  Once you get it to work, you should be able to plug your code into a FoxWeb script.  If you have problems at that stage, try running FoxWeb as a regular application.  If your code starts to work, then the problem is related to the fact that you are running FoxWeb as a service.  The Operating the FoxWeb Server topic of the documentation discusses this problem.

Are you running FoxWeb as a system service?  If yes, does your page work when you run it as a reguar application?  In this case, the problem is probably related to the fact that the service user does not have access to that particular registry key.  You can fix this by giving more rights to the FoxWeb service user.

If the problem is not related to user rights, then it is probably related to a problem with your code.  Try running the same registry update code in a regular VFP program.
