The setup program of the new release utilizes the Windows Installer Servide (msi), so it requires removal of previous versions. In fact if you run the installer, it will attempt to run the uninstall routine of any previous versions you have on your server, but it's probably safer to uninstall manually.
Regardless of how FoxWeb 2.X is uninstalled, your settings will remain intact. The only settings that are removed are the software keys, which will not work with FoxWeb 3 anyway.

I read the instructions about removing the old version but was wondering if I can just reinstall with the new release. I guess I am too lazy (read busy) to redo all the whole interface and registrations numbers.
