Subject:  Re: FoxWeb 1.2 - Auto-reset channels?
Hello!

Quick followup question.

I have implemented the suggestions below and set up a scheduled job. Seems to run as expected but the DOS batch file window stays open.

I was wondering if you had run into this before and had any suggestions. I'm trying to remember if I need an EXIT or QUIt or ?? in the .BAT file to close it.

Thanks!

Best,

DD

One way to achieve this would be for you to create a batch file with the following commands:

fwstart.exe /close
fwstart.exe

Create a daily scheduled job that calls this file.  It should force FoxWeb to close and then restart.

Ho Folks,

I have inherited a task to resolve an issue with FoxWeb. It appears to be an older version but thought I'd ask anyway.

I am completely unfamiliar with FoxWeb right now but expect I'll learn a lot in the next little while. <g>

Here's what I'd like to do... Auto-restart FoxWeb (they are running 5 channels) once a day.  Is there an easy way to do this?

FoxWeb, at this point, does NOT run as a service but under the Startup folder.

Thanks!!!!

Best,
